Phil Harvey

Phil Harvey is the editor in chief of Light Reading, a telecom news Website. He is also a frequent contributor to Contentinople, a digital media news and opinion site, and Internet Evolution, an online community of technologists, artists, writers, and others discussing the future of the Internet. Harvey joined Light Reading in September 2000 and was the site’s news editor when it was acquired by CMP Media in August 2005 for $27 million. Prior to joining Light Reading, Harvey was a staff writer for Red Herring in San Francisco and UPSIDE magazine in Silicon Valley. To his friends and family in Fort Worth, Texas, all of the above simply means that Phil can fix your computer. After all, he writes on the Internet.
